I'm a 20-year old writer/director currently based in New York City, though I was born and raised in Hong Kong and have lived in Toronto, Canada as well.
I aspire to tell sincere stories that harbor a contemporary resonance. There's no better time to try and capture the essence of coming-of-age within a cultural landscape that often feels alienating and disconnected, than when personally going through those very vicissitudes.
Currently, I'm a junior in the B.F.A. Film and Television program at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. Besides my native English, I'm also fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese.
